Evaluation includes 4 areas:

1. Repertoire which represents history, 5 main genres of styles, foreign languages, and range.

2. Written Exam which includes: 

• Music Theory (all tests are derived from "Fundamentals of Piano Theory" by Snell & Ashleigh; KJOS publishing

• Study of Vocal Anatomy

• Terminology - music and vocal

3. Practical Exam which includes:

• Level appropriate scales, intervals, and arpeggios.

• Sight-singing, Rhythm-reading

• Improvisation

4. Aural Exam which includes:

• Identifying intervals, scales and chord progressions

• Dictation

• Terminology
